Well folks, it is official. The man who couldn’t take on a scraggly teenager in a fair fight, without having to shoot him, has decided to step into a boxing ring. That is right, George Zimmerman has agreed to participate in a celebrity boxing match. His reported opponent of choice? Kanye West. However, the rapper The Game is hoping to beat Kanye to the punch.
George Zimmerman has officially topped the crazy meter. The man who has been in hiding, after being acquitted for the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, is stepping back out into the spotlight. One of the most hated men in America has decided to let people punch him in the face…for charity.
George Zimmerman is taking part in a celebrity boxing match. Just how gunning down an unarmed boy and allegedly threatening women makes him a celebrity, we will never understand.
The event organizer, Damon Feldman, spoke with TMZ about who Zimmerman’s opponete might be, but he did say he doesn’t want to make the bout a race issue:
"We haven't discussed purple, yellow, white, black."
However, it has been reported that ZImmerman wants to fight Kanye West.
Meanwhile, people are lining up to get their fists on Zimmerman…for charity. The rapper The Game recently spoke to TMZ about his desire to step in the ring with Zimmerman.
"I would not be boxing for me. I'd be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family. I would box him to knock him out.I would definitely take pleasure in it. It's legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon."
It is worth noting that The Game has a tattoo of Trayvon Martin.
