The second season of Kevin Bacon’s hit thriller The Following returned three weeks ago on a Sunday night to major ratings. Last week the show moved back into its regular night and time on Monday’s at 8 p.m. The show is returning tonight with an all new episode. Meanwhile, Fox is also bringing back the hit series 24. In 24: Live Another Day, Jack Bauer takes a half day, with a short 12-episode miniseries.
Tonight is an all new episode of The Following. The cult drama has returned to its normal night and time after a killer debut after the Super Bowl-deciding NFL lead in, three weeks ago.
The official plot synopsis for tonight's new episode, hilariously titled “Trust Me,” reads:
“Ryan searches for the link between the events in New York City, Emma and the Havenport cult, while the FBI gain more insight into his agenda. Elsewhere, Joe pursues a new plan after a shocking event.”
Meanwhile, Fox is bringing the hit series 24, with an all new season.
Kiefer Sutherland, A.K.A Jack Bauer, spoke to E! Online about bringing the series back to life:
"The foundation for any of this is going to be the writing, I have such huge respect for Howard [Gordon, executive producer].If he says I don't think I should do it anymore, then we end it. If he says we should, then I'm going to say ‘OK, let's go,' so I'm very excited."
The new season of 24 will only last a half day (or 12 episodes) and will take place in London.
The new series 24: Live Another Day debuts on May 5.
