Project Runway host Heidi Klum needed her bodyguard Martin Kirsten to be her rebound boyfriend to get her through her painful divorce from her former pop star husband Seal. But now she is reportedly feeling a lot better about the whole split, and is ready for Martin to move out of her house and back to the guard shack.
40-year-old former model Heidi Klum needed help working through her tough breakup with ex-husband Seal.
Klum found that support in a man she was already paying to protect her--bodyguard Martin Kirsten.
Though Heidi is appreciative of everything Martin has done for her, an inside source told E! that things have changed:
"They are no longer working together. Life is about timing. He was incredibly supportive and they were there for each other, but they're moving on now. They still have a great friendship."
They are friends for now, but according to a friend of Klum's in Life & Style, the reality show host is ready to be free at all costs:
"Martin was just a convenient rebound. She was really unhappy...She knew it would be hard breakup because he's so entrenched in her life. Her kids adore him. It's just impossible to make a clean break."
After all this time destroying other people's dreams, you think it would come naturally to her by now.
It's that kind of enigmatic complexity that makes her such a worldwide draw says NBC president of alternative programming, Paul Telegdy:
