Oscar Nominated Jonah Hill ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ Martin Scorsese Role Paid Less Than 'Superbad'

Jonah Hill may not have been paid a lot of money for his recent role as degenerate banker Donnie Azoff in Martin Scorsese's new movie Wolf of Wall Street, the actor only took home $60K for the picture, even less than he made for his break-through role in Superbad. But Hill has been nominated for an Oscar, and that is something even Jordan Belfort's cash can't buy.

It has been a good year already for Jonah Hill. With his new role in Scorsese's new film, all of Hollywood is still abuzz with talk of his no-holds-barred performance.

Too bad the film didn't have the same effect on his back account that it's had for his reputation.

That's isn't a problem for him, who according to Star, has said he was willing to take the hit to have an opportunity to collaborate with such talent:

"The actor recently admitted he'd happily accepted a $60,000 salary because he wanted the chance to work with director Martin Scorsese so badly."

Not only is his career's projection looking quite different than it did at the start of last year, Hills love life is also looking up for the moment.

The 30-year-old actor is starting to settle down with his new model, girlfriend Isabelle McNally.

The two haven't made their relationship official, but they have been seen acting pretty domesticated around L.A.

Hill might be trying to keep the whole affair on the hush-hush, but there is just no hiding from Star's prying eyes:

"After first being spotted together in September, the pair have been inseparable ever since, with frequent runs to the grocery store and gym."

He must have to wait on his next check before he can get her a ring.
