Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Brandi Glanville isn't in the reality television racket to make friends, she's in it to make money. The often drunk and racist mother of two is so hungry to draw attention to herself, fellow Bravo star Joanna Krupa is afraid that the ever feuding train wreck might literally be an endangerment to the cast as well as herself. Krupa says that her recent comments making light of child molestation is a sign that "time bomb" Brandi is ready to blow.
You have to admire Brandi Glanville's ability to offend millions of people without ever seeming to really have to try at it.
Take the other week on her podcast, when Brandi decided to kick the show off by relating child molestation as a normative part of coming of age:
"I, too, wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up. My sister got felt up by a principal, and nothing for me. He didn't even look at me sideways...Yeah. Now looking back, I'm super-bummed. I was thinking, 'All this and nothing?' Super-hot and they passed me up!"
Though, Brandi doesn't think anyone should be taking everything so seriously. Glanville told the London Times that it was all just a means to getting paid (Huffington Post):
"Am I getting notoriety for being an a**hole on TV? Yes. But guess what? I've saved X amount of dollars in the bank and will be fine without a man taking care of me. I thought to myself, 'What have I got to lose? A husband? No. A house? No. Riches? No.'"
It is exactly that kind of attitude that had fellow Housewife Joanna Krupa so worried. She told TMZ that Glanville's attention grabbing antics are going to led to real life troubles for everyone.
In Joanna's opinion Brandi's recent molestation comments are just a symptom of a much larger problem (via Wet Paint):
"This woman, I don't think she understands boundaries. You know, I understand you're on TV, you want to continue your 15 minutes of fame, but making fun and joking about child molestation is disgusting. I mean, there are so many people, the victims, that go through this. How many times can you say, 'I'm sorry'? To her, I think 'I'm sorry' is just a word...She's just like a ticking time bomb. I think people are kind of worried of what's gonna come out of her mouth next."
Let us just hope that America can pull together in time to survive the perfect storm that is Brandi Glanville.
