Gwyneth Paltrow and 'Wicked's' Kristin Chenoweth Return to ‘Glee’ for 100th Episode After Cory Monteith Death

Fox’s hit musical comedy Glee is celebrating its landmark 100th episode with a very special two-hour event in April. In order to help them ring in the big event, Wicked star Kristin Chenoweth and superstar Gwyneth Paltrow are reprising their roles on the series. The episode is expected to deal further with the death of Cory Monteith's character Finn Hudson.

Glee will never be the same without Cory Monteith. Even as the show is celebrating it’s 100th episode, the cast and crew are still mourning his death.

The special 100th episode is expected to deal further with the death of Cory Monteith's character Finn Hudson. The episode’s director, Paris Barclay, recently opened up to US Weekly about the episode’s tribute to Finn:

"There is so much feeling there and it affected the Glee family in such a profound way, and you can expect it to be dealt with in the 100th episode. It definitely comes back and is dealt with in a significant way."

He went on to further talk about the show’s two big returning guest stars, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristin Chenoweth:

"The two of them together are hysterical," Barclay said of Paltrow and Chenoweth. "They have a lot of scenes together, and I think they will be clamoring for a spin off after this! The have great chemistry, and they are incredibly funny."

Kristin Chenoweth recently spoke to E! News about returning to the show:

"I get to do a lot with Gwyneth Paltrow. We are reprising our guest starring roles and that makes it really fun. We're having a good time."
