Paul Wesley, the actor who plays Stefan on the hit CW series The Vampire Diaries, has recently opened up about his relationship status. No, he hasn’t finally confirmed that he's dating The Originals’ star Phoebe Tonkin. The actor has instead admitted to being in a relationship with Tonkin’s co-star, Daniel Gillies. Talk about your love triangles.
The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley is one of hottest actors around, so it's only natural that following his recent divorce, he would be swarmed with dating rumors. However, the most recent onrd surrounding Wesley might not be what you think.
One fan recently wrote on his Mobio INsider about the actor’s relationship status:
“Hi Paul. I’m curious, you and Daniel Gillies have a loving relationship? PS: I love you two together.”
Wesley, always the charmer, quipped back:
“Yes, please tell no one, I beg of you.”
This is not the first time that Wesley has opened up about his love for Daniel Gillies.
Last year, Wesley declared his man crush on Gillies at EyeCon in Atlanta:
"All I really care about is if Daniel Gillies likes me or not. If I was a woman, I'd be in love with Daniel Gillies. I'm not a woman and I'm in love with Daniel Gillies. He's the perfect specimen. I was watching The Originals the other day and he looked so good in that suit. He was really still on the screen and then you see that little twinkle in his eyes. Gillies, I'm telling ya, he's got that suit. I wish I could be as cool as Daniel Gillies."
However, Wesley’s real love is Gillies, Originals co-star, Phoebe Tonkin. The pair have reportedly been spotted out on dates in the shopping for apartments together.
