Celeb Scientology Update: Tom Cruise Dating, Leah Remini and Kirstie Alley Feud, FAKE Husband [RUMORS]

Rumors are always flying when it comes to celebrities who practice Scientology. This week saw claims that Tom Cruise is entering the dating game, as well as reports that Kirstie Alley, after her feud with Leah Remini, has a fake husband.

A new article in Star (via Kpop Starz) claims that Tom is using casting auditions to find a new woman. According to the disreputable tabloid, Tom is battling some insecurities:

"Tom is looking for a renowned actress between the ages of 30 and 39 who is open to a real-life marriage. Tom's strict requirements for love both on and off the screen stem from his fear of being mocked for reaching out of his league and choosing a woman who is too young."

This isn't the first time we've heard reports of women being auditioned for Tom. Last year saw the resurfacing of a Vanity Fair article that claims the Church of Scientology was actively trying to find Tom a new woman.

Nazanin Boniadi, known for her role on last season's Homeland, was among dozens of women considered for Tom. Then 25, the actress was allegedly selected because of her medical degree and slender frame. Boniadi spoke to the Post and confirmed that she was at one time a Scientologist, however she refused to comment on the Tom Cruise situation, revealing:

"I'd rather not talk about that. It's something that I'm not happy to...Like I said, I have so many positive things happening in my life, it's a shame not to talk about that."

The article was fairly graphic in its description of what Nazanin allegedly had to go through. According to the article, this includes changing her hair color, fixing her smile, months of invasive questioning and filing down some of her teeth, in an effort to make her even more attractive.

Fellow scientologist Kirstie Alley also finds herself in the news. As usual, the controversy stems from the rotund actress' Twitter account.

The 63-year-old scientologist recently posted an image showing some tacky, sad flowers, along with the caption:

"Thank you my darling husband for the most glorious flowers...a bird cage with tiny sparkling baby birds...stunning!"

The problem? Kirstie Alley doesn't have a husband.

This has lead the laughable National Enquirer to suggest that Alley is dealing with mental illness.

Do you think Kirstie is crazy? Does she really think she has a husband?
