Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Brandi Glanville wants you to feel sorry for her. The reality star claims that she and feuding ex-husband Eddie Cibrian never really had any money, even though they lived in a mansion in Beverly Hills. She described her in-debt-to-your-eyeballs lifestyle as "ghetto rich," a comment that some have found offensive.
You just have to give it up to Glanville for her never fail stream of offensive nonsense. She never takes a break from getting her ridiculous drivel out there whether, it's on interviews, podcasts, blogs, radio or good ole fashion television.
Glanville's most recent repulsive blatherings come from an interview she gave to the London Times, wherein she went so far as to suggest that she and former husband Eddie Cibrian are actually very poor and always have been (via Huffington Post):
"We lived in Los Angeles, surrounded by some of the wealthiest people in the world, but Eddie and I were never truly rich. We were ghetto rich. We had the nice cars, the nice house and the nice jewels, but we probably had a second and a third mortgage. We were living paycheck to paycheck, with no savings."
And that isn't all by a long shot. The mother of two even claimed that it was her financial insecurities that have led to her appalling behavior on Housewives.
Glanville told the London Times that the reason she acts the way she does, is because she needs that reality show money (via Huffington Post):
"Am I getting notoriety for being an a**hole on TV? Yes. But guess what? I've saved X amount of dollars in the bank and will be fine without a man taking care of me," she said. "I thought to myself, 'What have I got to lose? A husband? No. A house? No. Riches? No."
See?...She works hard for the money.
