Zac Efron’s new movie, That Awkward Moment, is generating a lot of buzz. The film that opens today in the UK and this Friday in the US grabbed the world’s attention after a trailer featuring a nude Efron was released. It also doesn’t hurt that this is Efron’s first major release since it was reported that he went to rehab for cocaine addiction. However, despite all the press, it appears that Efron’s High School Musical co-star, Ashley Tisdale, was the most excited. The starlet was recently all alone in the theater after arriving at the premiere super-early.
Fans everywhere can not wait to catch an extended glimpse of Zac Efron nude in his new movie That Awkward Moment. However, his old High School Musical co-star, Ashley Tisdale, was perhaps the most excited.
The actress showed up at the recent premiere super early. She even tweeted a picture of the empty theater, along with the message:
"#Thatawkwardmoment when you're the first person at the premiere...."
Don’t plan on the theaters staying empty for long. The trailer for the film features a nude Zac Efron, laying on top of toilet in the push up position. That is definitely something fangirls everywhere will pay $12 to see. Think of the money they could make if they released the film in 3D.
In a recent interview on Today, Zac was asked about some of the film’s “nude aerobics,” to which he responded:
"I started practicing when I was very young.That's actually how I got into acting."
That would explain how he got cast in HSM.
That Awkard Moment opens in the US this Friday, January 31. The film opens tonight, Wednesday, January 29 in the UK.
