Kurt Cobain's widow, Hole front woman Courtney Love, wins her Twitter libel lawsuit, the first of its kind to ever be heard in U.S. court. Now she is looking to make Aaron Sorkin her boyfriend so he can get her into big Hollywood movie.
The case, dubbed Twibel, was between Love and her former lawyer Rhonda Holmes.
Love and Holmes ended their professional relationship after just six months of representation, due to conflicting personalities.
But in 2010, Love claims she accidently made the feud public, when she mistakenly posted a tweet instead of sending the message privately.
Love alleges that she immediately erased the tweet realizing her mistake, so she couldn't have defamed her former lawyer, because no one saw it until Holmes made it public again by suing Love. The judge clearly agreed.
The text that put the landmark case in court was posted on a Twitter handle no longer used by Love @CourtneyLoveUK (via LA Times):
"@noozjunkie I was ... devastated when Rhonda J Holmes Esq of San Diego was bought off @fairnewsspears perhaps you can get a quote"
Love is making sure she doesn't get into the same situation with her new attorneys.
Shortly after the case, she resurfaced a Twitter with a post that gave all the credit for winning the case to her current lawyers:
"I can't thank you enough Dongell Lawrence Finney LLP, the most incredible law firm on the planet. We won this epic battle."
For her next trick, Love plans to re-enter the Hollywood movie scene by tricking Aaron Sorkin into dating her, so she can get introduced to the film industries' mover and shakers.
A inside source revealed her diabolical plan to In Touch:
"She got his email address from a friend a few months ago and has been flirting with him ever since...She wants to date him. She's desperate for a famous boyfriend to get her back into Hollywood--she thinks it will help people take her seriously."
Anything is possible.
