Last week the cast of the hit CW series The Vampire Diaries celebrated their landmark 100th episode last week. Where the episode featured Damon and Elena dealing with the recent breakup, rumor has it that Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are hooking back up in real life.
Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are one of the most talked about pairings both on and off the screen.
After winning several awards for their roles on The Vampire Diaries, the former real life couple made light of their rollercoaster romance at the People's Choice Awards. While accepting the award for Favorite On Screen Chemistry, the duo shared this following exchange:
Dobrev:
“We started dating on the show."
Somerhalder:
“Then we started dating in real life”
Dobrev:
"Then we broke up in real life."
Somerhalder:
"And yet our characters are still dating on the show."
Dobrev:
"It's a good thing it's not awkward."
Afterwards, Ian gave his “ex” a kiss on the cheek.
Now rumors have started to fly that the couple is back together.
Celebrity Dirty Laundry recently reported on an unnamed source who claims that couple are having a clandestine relationship:
"They’re both doing their best to keep it quiet. They’re not sure if they’re going to go back into full dating mode, especially since they’re still on good terms and don’t want to ruin their existing friendship."
Meanwhile, the cast show just celebrated the landmark 100th episode together. Nina Dobrev posted about the get together on Whosay, writing:
"100 episodes of #TVD start right now....Tvd family viewings party at my Casa @julieplec @katgraham @mkmalarkey @iansomerhalder etc..."
