Ariana Grande Defends Drunk Driver After Bizarre ‘You Don’t Know Me’ Twitter Rant

Ariana Grande has not been shying away from sharing her true feelings on Twitter and Instagram lately. Not only is she sounding off about her hair and about her fans not knowing who she really is, but now she has taken to defending a drunk driver--in particular, her close friend, Justin Bieber.

As you already know, Justin Bieber, got arrested last week. You can stop cheering. However, Ariana Grande doesn’t seem to think that getting high and drunk and speeding down the street is such a bad thing.

In a recent Twitter rant, the Sam and Cat actress defended her friend, writing:

“I think it’s really serious. I’ve seen tweets of people like making fun of the mugshot and all this stuff, and it’s so ignorant. It’s gotten to a point where I just want him to be okay. [He is] the most visible and yet isolated human being I’ve ever met. He’s very isolated… I don’t think anybody understands. I don’t think anybody could ever understand. I certainly don’t, but I just think that people could be a little more sensitive to him… he does need help, but I don’t think he needs punishment.”

Later on, the starlet went on to also tweet:

“We're all human and we all have great amounts of pressure on us. when someone's hurting, be there. we could all use a little more compassion”

This strange defense follows her recent bizarre rant about how fans don’t know her. She recently waxed philosophical on Twitter, writing:

"It's bizarre how we think we know each other based upon what we post online. I just read my tweets pretending I didn't know me and got annoyed. We post and think it's a good representation of who we are, but there's so much more to us. We think we know each other but we don't--it's weird."

What are your thoughts about Grande’s comments?
