It's been a pretty big week for the ladies of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Caroline Manzo will be getting a new show, following her feud with sister Dina. Melissa Gorga, a fellow cast mate, released a book in 2013 that has subsequently received a Worst Book of the Year award.
Big things are happening for Caroline Manzo. The housewife will be starring in her very own Bravo show, Manzo'd with Children.
Elizabeth Darrell, over at Fans Share, tells viewers what they might expect from Manzo's new show:
"Her new reality show will feature the ups and down of being a mother of three and a wife to hubby Albert. Caroline will be spending her time trying to manage the three ring circus called family. It's unsure if any of the Real Housewives of New Jersey will make a debut on her upcoming spin-off but one things for sure, if they do, she probably won't put up with any of their drama."
Of course, it might not all be easy going for Caroline Manzo. According to New York Daily News, Caroline and her sister, Dina Manzo, are still in the midst of a feud:
"'Don't believe a word of it. They did not make friends,' a Manzo family friend tellsConfidenti@l. 'Dina has no interest in family, just fame. It is very hurtful. She has made zero attempt to be with the family.' In October, Caroline Manzo announced her departure from the show on her blog: 'Going back to film another season of Housewives would only make me a hypocrite. For me, peace and integrity cannot be bought with money or fame.'"
Caroline's not the only one making noise. Fellow housewife Melissa Gorga is also creating some buzz.
Last year, Melissa wrote a book entitled, Love Italian Style. Unfortunately, the book didn't really debut to the best reception, especially considering many felt it advocated marital rape.
And now it's official, Gorga received Entertainment Weekly's yearly Worst Nonfiction of 2013 award. Congrats Melissa, we always knew you could do it.
