‘Transformers 4: Age of Extinction’ Reshoot Filming and Official Trailer Release Date

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is almost here. The latest incarnation of the franchise is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2014. The bulk of filming has already wrapped and the movie just underwent some last minute re-shoots. Just in time, because the official trailer release date has been announced.

That is right fans. The first look trailer for

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction will be coming to you soon--This Sunday in fact. The trailer will be featured during the Sunday Super Bowl. Director Michael Bay made the announcement on his website:

"We have completed our five and half month shoot. We got back from a month long shoot in China. My crew and I had a fantastic time shooting in Hong Kong and Mainland China. It was an amazing experience, and I love the country. My cast was absolutely fantastic, and a very fun group to work with. We are working hard cutting the movie right now. I think the first piece comes out for the Super Bowl and a teaser right after that."

Other big trailers rumored for the Super Bowl include: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier, Need For Speed, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Rumor has it there will even be some people playing football.

The Super Bowl is not the only place that new Transformers footage can be seen. After embarrassing himself at a Samsung event by walking off stage, the director announced that he will be showing off scenes of the movie for the rest of the company all around the world:

“I’m doing a special curved screen experience with Samsung and Transformers 4 footage that will be traveling around the world.”

Meanwhile, Transformers just finished last minute filming over China.
