Real Housewives of Atlanta Porsha Williams says she is enjoying her new freedom from ex-husband quarterback Kordell Stewart, having just finalized their divorce. Though according to some recent accounts, without the benefit of Kordell’s millions, she is not quite as free as she might like. Stewart has been made newly homeless, since she can no longer afford to live in her condo. The divorcee has had to move in with her mother, until she gets her finances together.
If you ask Porsha Williams about her recent divorce to Kordell Williams, she will tell you a bunch of nonsense she claims she learned about love from not being able to stay married for more than three years.
Williams belched out some drivel to OK! about how her failure as a partner gave her some insight into the nuances of how a healthy relationship should work:
“I’ve been able to move forward and leave the past behind--I got the closure I wanted...Never lose yourself in love. It’s okay to love a man, but it’s better to love yourself more, and you need to always stay focused on your goals. You can be independent and still be in love.”
She must not be referring to financial independence, because according to recent reports she doesn’t have any.
Word has it the Williams' only income, in addition to her Housewives pay, is the $5K she gets every month in spousal support from her retired ex husband.
That is not near enough to keep her in the life she has grown accustomed to, according to TMZ. Porsha Stewart’s condo is trying to get rid of her, while she continues to dodge creditors by hiding out at her mom’s house:
“Porsha lived in a high-rise condo complex in Atlanta...and she's fallen behind on her homeowner's dues--to the tune of $17,959! Now the homeowner's association has filed legal docs...requesting that her bank account be frozen and the money that goes in gets diverted to pay her homeowner's bills...Porsha is living with her mom now.”
Ah...the blessed freedom of mom’s basement.
