Rumors that Dean McDermott is guilty of cheating on wife Tori Spelling and that a divorce is likely continue to fly. This is especially true after the Chopped (Canada version) host announced that he would be entering rehab, presumably over a sex addiction.
McDermott came clean (well, sort of) to E! News, when he revealed that he would be entering rehab. According to the gossip site, Dean issued the following statement:
"I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves."
This latest admission comes after Us Weekly reported on Dean's rumored affair. The tabloid told readers that, back in December, McDermott may have cheated on his wife:
"While promoting his gig as host of Chopped Canada in Toronto on Dec. 6, McDermott invited 28-year-old Emily Goodhand, a woman he met that day through friends, to his room at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel--where they had sex, she tells Us. 'He told me he and Tori had a sexless marriage,' says Goodhand, who stayed over at his hotel the following night too. 'I believed him.'"
For a while, it seemed like the couple was going to move past the allegations. Unfortunately, it seems that Tori couldn't move past it, as one source told OK! Magazine.
"Tori is convinced nothing will ever be the same again. She desperately wants to believe that this woman is exaggerating and trying to cash in on what Dean says was nothing more than the exchange of a few words. But deep down she can't bring herself to fully believe him."
