Based on the rumors (and the crappy Man of Steel lead in), DC's attempt at a shared universe in Batman Vs Superman has a lot of problems to overcome. However, they have given themselves plenty of time to work out their issues. With the release date being pushed back to 2016, the film's costume department has enough time to throw together two brand new Batsuits. Batman might need two sets of threads considering that the film is rumored to have two villains: Metallo and Lex Luthor.
One of the most talked about new things in the upcoming (can we seriously call it upcoming, considering the fact that it will take forever to be released?) Batman Vs Superman movie is the Batsuit.
Kevin Smith has promised us that fanboys will love the new suit. To be fair, if Kevin Smith knew what fanboys liked, then he would have never wrote Batman: The Widening Gyre.
Ben Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner has seen the suit, telling ET:
"I’ve seen the suit. It’s unbelievably cool, it’s a total reinvention, it looks great.”
Now Latino Review is claiming that there might be two Batsuits in the new film:
“The more interesting thing I’ve heard is that Batman will actually wear 2 batsuits in the film, but where as Grey-and-Blue has already been designed and Affleck has worn it, the second Batsuit is more armored like the one in the Dark Knight Returns and Kingdom Come comics.”
Meanwhile, it is being reported that the film will have two villians. Lex Luthor has already been confirmed to be in the movie. Now it also being reported that Superman’s Kryptonite-powered cyborg villain, Metallo, might make an appearance.
