Gwyneth Paltrow is returning to Glee. The Iron Man star is returning for the show's landmark 100th episode, and she will not be alone. Wicked star and Broadway legend Kristin Chenoweth will be joining her. Gwyneth Paltrow has good reason to be singing and dancing. She recently put an end to her alleged Vanity Fair feud and the cheating rumors.
Glee is gearing up for its 100th episode. The big event will bring some pretty big names back to Lima. Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristin Chenoweth will be reprising their roles on the series. Despite the familiar faces, there will reportedly be some big changes for the show.
Last year, TV Line reported that Ryan Murphy told reporters that the show would be ending after this next season:
“The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn’s story. I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was--he was in it. I knew what the last line was--she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you sort of have to pause and figure out what you want to do, so we’re figuring that out now. I have a good idea. I’m going to tell the studio and the network [in a week] how after Cory’s unfortunate passing we can end the show that I think is very satisfactory. And kind of in his honor, which I love.”
The change in plans has reportedly forced the show to move its stories to New York. The Glee club will reportedly be shut down leading up to the move.
The two-part TV event will air on March 18 and 25 on FOX.
What do you think about the big changes planned?
