When it comes to celebrity divorce rumors, 2014 may be the biggest year yet. Michael Douglas may be calling it quits with his longtime wife, Bethenny Frankel is trying to have her estranged husband removed from her home, Tori Spelling's husband is entering rehab over cheating and Clint Eastwood is reportedly denying his wife spousal support.
A new report by the laughable National Enquirer claims that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are no longer on the road to recovery. These latest rumors come after her high-profile absence at the Golden Globes, as Inquistr explains:
"Catherine Zeta-Jones refused to attend the Golden Globe Awards with Michael Douglas...Michael was upset that Catherine couldn't be bothered to attend the awards to support Michael, whose film Behind the Candelabra won the award for best television movie. Michael Douglas still thanked Catherine Zeta-Jones in his acceptance speech, but sources said he was telling friends that he felt like he was single."
One person who is confirmed to be getting a divorce is former Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel.
The celeb, whose talk show is bombing in the ratings, really wants her estranged husband out of her home. New York Daily News describes the nature of her courtroom appearance:
"Reality TV star and talk show host Bethenny Frankel was back in divorce court Friday trying to bounce her ex from sharing the Tribeca apartment where they have been living with their daughter. Frankel allowed Hoppy to share their Hudson St. loft after filing for divorce last year so he could continue to be close to their 3-year-old daughter, Bryn."
Bethenny is also connected to another famous couple who is divorcing-Dina and Clint Eastwood.
Dina appeared on Bethenny's talk show to discuss her divorce with Clint. Shortly after her appearance, however, TMZ revealed that Clint will not be paying Dina ANY spousal support:
"Clint Eastwood thinks his soon-to-be ex-wife should fend for herself...because he's asking a judge to DENY her any spousal support. Clint filed legal docs in the divorce case triggered by Dina Eastwood. He's trying early on to shut down her request for support."
Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling may also be undergoing a divorce, as rumors continue to fly that Dean cheated on Tori. In fact, the actor actually announced today that he was checking himself into the rehab.
