Mark Ruffalo Talks ‘Avengers 2’ Plot After ‘Planet Hulk’ Solo Movie Rumors

Avengers 2: The Age of Ultron is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2015. Probably the most now that Batman Vs Superman has foolishly abandoned its release date. Now one of the film’s stars, Mark Ruffalo, is opening up about the plot. Ruffalo is also rumored to star in a Planet Hulk solo movie, sometime in the near future.

Mark Ruffalo is singing the praises of the upcoming Avengers film. MTV recently caught up with the actor, who gave them some minor plot details:

"I would say that it's better, it's cooler, it's more awesomer. It's a little bit darker, but also really has Joss Whedon's incredible witty and sly sense of humor."

Well, there you have it folks. Granted, did you really expect him to say that it was worse than the first (Remember when Robert Downey Jr said that Iron Man 3 was good)?

Marvel’s president of production, and chief in charge of tongue flapping, Kevin Feige, spoke with MTV last year about a Hulk solo film:

“I don’t think there’s a lot that we couldn’t do someday, as the cinematic universe continues to grow and expand and get as big as the comic book universe. Planet Hulk is a cool story. World War Hulk is a cool story… I think there are pitfalls of continuity-overload, and mythology getting so dense that it almost collapses in on itself. It happens every few decades or so in the comics. Apart from that, I’d say everything is on the table. Do I think Hulk can carry a movie and be as entertaining as he was in ‘Avengers’? I do believe that. I do believe he absolutely could. We certainly are not even going to attempt that until ‘Avengers 2. So there’s a lot of time to think about it.”

Do you think that Avengers 2 will be better than the first one?
