The Super Bowl is about to get a whole new audience…Geeks. Several comic book and nerd culture films are reported to have new trailers released during the Super Bowl this year--including the long awaited Guardians of the Galaxy and Transformers 4: Age of Extinction trailers.
For months now, fans have been begging to catch a glimpse of the upcoming Marvel film Guardians of the Galaxy and the new Transformers movie, Transformer 4: Age of Extinction.
Well, now it seems like we finally have a release date for both projects.
Transformers director and professional fuse lighter Michael Bay announced earlier this year that the long awaited Transformers 4: Age of Extinction trailer would show at the Super Bowl. He told his fans the good news via his website:
"... We have completed our five and half month shoot. We got back from a month long shoot in China. My crew and I had a fantastic time shooting in Hong Kong and Mainland China. It was an amazing experience, and I love the country. My cast was absolutely fantastic, and a very fun group to work with. We are working hard cutting the movie right now. I think the first piece comes out for the Super Bowl and a teaser right after that."
Now it is being reported that Disney is trying to buy a third Super Bowl slot for Guardians of the Galaxy.
The company has reportedly already reserved a slot for Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier and Dreamwork’s Need For Speed.
Really? They chose the most well known Marvel hero and some other studio’s crappy video game movie for the Super Bowl, instead of the new movie that is desperate need a big push.
These people are pros right? They know we have already seen five minutes of Captain America 2 right? They are also aware that Cap is a proven success, with the first film and Avengers under his belt, and that no one outside of super geeks know who the GOTG are?
