Award winning singer/songwriter Jason Derulo first burst on the music scene by writing songs like “Pitbull” for greatest rapper in his own mind, Lil Wayne. Now, the "Marry Me" performer is famous enough to sing his own songs. Not only is he the headline of official pre-Grammy parties, he his taking girlfriend, hottie Jordin Sparks, on romantic vacations to exotic locales.
Although Jason Derulo never stopped working hard or gave up his dream, things were beginning to look a little dubious for the 24-year-old. He told OK! that it just makes him enjoy it all the more now:
“Finishing my Tattoos album and having three of its singles skyrocket across the world. It’s pretty amazing--a little over a year ago I didn’t know where the road was going.”
Though he was happy to talk about anything, his favorite subject to discuss is American Idol Season 6 winner girlfriend Jordin Sparks.
Derulo told OK! that it's not enough to just give Sparks acting jobs, she starred in his “Marry Me” video, he also likes surprising her with grand romantic gestures:
“She’s sensitive and has a loving heart--and she’s gorgeous!...I wanted to surprise her so I blindfolded her at the airport. She had no idea where we were going until the pilot said: ‘Welcome to Turks and Caicos.’ We had our own private beach and it was her romantic birthday getaway.”
Anything to keep her from asking you, when are you going to marry her?
