Rumors continue to swirl around the mental health of Amanda Bynes. Another troubled starlet, Ke$ha, appears to be struggling with her own illness. Multiple reports have surfaced that claim the singer is in rehab over a near-death eating disorder.
Amanda Bynes may have been released from her court-ordered rehab, but that doesn't mean that the actress' life is perfect.
According to a new report by Radar Online, Amanda is struggling with adjusting to life outside. One insider claims that Amanda's parents aren't allowing her to hang out with her friends (via Indian Express):
"Amanda wants to hang out with her friends and go out and do regular things, but she is telling people that her parents won't let her out of the house for anything other than school and appointments. She wants to be out doing normal stuff like going to dinner and movies but she's been saying that she was told she couldn't."
Of course, Amanda's mom warned fans not to believe everything they read online. In fact, Lynn Bynes told People that unless Amanda's attorney said it, it's not true:
"I would really like everyone out there to know that almost 99 percent of the things written about my daughter in various media outlets are false or misleading. Unless it's a statement issued by our family attorney, Tamar Arminak, please take everything you read about Amanda with a grain of salt."
Amanda's not the only star who's facing issues.
Ke$ha finds herself in rehab over a deadly eating disorder. One source told Star that the troubled singer would go days without eating and blamed producer Dr. Luke for Ke$ha's poor self-image:
"She'd starve herself for weeks, then binge and pile on 20 lbs. [Dr. Luke] was not sympathetic to her at all. He basically told her that she was the size of a refrigerator and that if she didn't get thin, her career would be over."
What do you think about the latest rumors? Is Dr. Luke to blame for Ke$ha's eating disorder?
