The hits just keep on coming for American Idol Carrie Underwood. The country music star, who has been rumored to be cheating on Nashville Predator Mike Fisher and seeking a divorce, gave her career a much needed shot in the arm, when she performed Sound of Music live on network television. Now, on top of numerous acting offers, Underwood has just signed a deal making her the international brand ambassador of the makeup company Almay.
It looks like 2014 might very well be a year of change for 30-year-old Carrie Underwood.
On top of rumors of acting lessons and being named American Idol's all-time greatest earner, the country music starlet just made a deal with Almay to be the international face of the company.
That isn’t her only cosmetic enterprise. She recently announced that she would be starting her own line of nail polish with Nicole by OPI.
Sadly, it isn’t all bliss for Underwood. As her career has begun to take off, her husband is reportedly wondering just when will they start that family they planned.
A supposed friend of the couple told Star that the two were so at odds, it was doubtful that they would make it much longer:
“Between his schedule with the Nashville Predators and her rehearsals, they barely saw each other the last three months. When they did steal some alone time, Carrie was wiped out physically and emotionally. The ordeal left Mike feeling neglected and ignored...Mike is fuming. Carrie is thrilled about all the opportunities, but she’s very conflicted and confused. She and mike are barely speaking.”
Well...you can’t have everything.
