Millionaire Mogul Simon Cowell 'X Factor' Producer Bans Sob Stories, Fires Judges?

Simon Cowell is known for being a bit of a curmudgeon, as well as coming off as somewhat rude. So it is hard to say that anyone was shocked when the surely millionaire entertainment mogul recently banned all further “sob stories” on Britain's Got Talent. It is also being rumored that he's planning to fire X Factor judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio if ratings for the show do not improve.

In a recent episode of one of the many shows that Simon Cowell produces that are seemingly completely identical in every way, except the name Britain’s Got Talent, the 54-year-old soon to be father had a particularly emotional reaction to contestant’s saga of hardships and travails (via Mirror):

“I've heard the sob story before. Not many people can come on stage and sing like that. I am bored of these sob stories now. I hate to sound harsh but I am.”

That reportedly isn’t the only change he is looking to make to one of his flagship shows.

With X Factor’s ratings continue to dip, Cowell, who is not use to failure, is starting to look around at the cast of the show and wonder, who has got to go?

An X Factor insider told Star that the show could be in for a major shift in dynamics:

“Simon wants to start over. He thinks the show needs a shot in the arm. He’s an egomaniac and simply won’t accept failure.”

Sounds like Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are about to have their own hard luck story to tell.
