FX’s New ‘Archer,’ ‘Chozen’ and ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ Weekly Sneak Peak

FX is becoming a force to be reckoned with. In between the constant showings of Iron Man and Iron Man 2, the channel actually has some pretty awesome shows. This week be sure to check all new episodes of Archer and Chozen this Monday night. Don’t forget to check out the 2nd to last episode of the hit anthology series, American Horror Story: Coven, on Wednesday.

This Monday night FX is all new, starting with the hit animated series, Archer. The new season, taglined Vice, has flipped the script on the secret agent series, turning them into criminal drug dealers.

H. Jon Benjamin, the voice of Sterling Archer (and about 100 other awesome characters), spoke to The Daily Beast recently about the theme shift:

“When I first heard about it, I was psyched. We take it on the road, and so much crazy shit happens this season. It’s insane. It’s like Breaking Bad meets Miami Vice.

Archer comes on Monday nights at 10 p.m. The hit series is now followed by the brand new animated comedy Chozen, starring Saturday Night Live’s Bobby Moynihan. The new show is produced by the same people who brought you HBO’s Eastbound and Down.

Meanwhile, the latest season of the hit anthology series, American Horror Story: Coven is coming to an end. Only two episodes of Coven remain. With the end closer than ever, the hints for the next season theme is sure to be hidden through the new episode.

Show creator Ryan Murphy recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about next year’s theme:

“It’s set in 1950. If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”
