President Barack Obama is opening up about his past drug use. In a recent interview, the POTUS compares pot smoking to alcohol. Meanwhile, Michelle Obama is showing what healthy living looks like. The First Lady just celebrated her 50th Birthday with Beyonce, and she looked great while doing it.
It is not a secret that President Barack Obama use to smoke marijuana. The President recently sat down with The New Yorker, where he opened up about his past drug use:
“As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life.”
President Obama went on to compare pot to drinking, adding, “I don’t think it is more dangerous than alcohol.’
However, where he didn’t condemn the drug, he also doesn’t endorse it:
“It’s not something I encourage, and I’ve told my daughters I think it’s a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy.”
Meanwhile, Michelle Obama is all about healthy living. The First Lady has been spearheading a physical fitness campaign and it's paying off.
Michelle recently turned the big 50. The First Lady kicked off the big landmark birthday on Saturday night.
Michelle Obama’s close friend Beyonce performed at the event.
Other guest at the party included: Joe Biden, the Clintons, Nancy Pelosi, Sir Paul McCartney and NBC’s Al Roker, just to name a few.
