Feuding Brandi Glanville ‘RHOBH’ Co-Star Yolanda Foster Illness Ravages Brain

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster has had no other choice but to let feuding Brandi Glanville and company steal the spotlight these last 18 months. As Glanville has raged against LeAnn Rimes, Foster’s brain was being ravaged by the effects of tick-borne illness Lyme disease.

The Beverly Hills housewives, much like on-leave sailors, are usually known for their wild behavior and coarse language.

Castmate Yolanda Foster has sadly not been able to join in on any of the fun.

The 50-year-old reality star has been fighting for her life, as Lyme disease has been systematically shutting down her brain's ability to function.

Foster had the misfortune of being misdiagnosed, so her brain function was down to just 20 percent before doctors found an effective treatment. In a recent interview with Life & Style, she opened up about the living hell, in which she was trapped:

“I had such severe neurological Lyme disease, it shut down the function of my left frontal lobe. I couldn’t write, I couldn’t read--I was in bed for eight months staring at the ceiling...I feel like it chopped my balls off...Every day I’m fighting for my life.”

Thankfully, one of her doctors eventually gave her electric shock therapy, which jump started some of the dormant parts of her brain.

Foster now has the use of 20 more percent of her brain, and is trying to look on the bright side of life while she continues to heal.

She told Life & Style that she wasn’t letting it keep her down:

“I’m optimistic...I realize how blessed i am to have all the I have.”

And what about the Beverly Hills’ gang? Where have they been during all this?

Foster told Life & Style, that believe it or not, Brandi Glanville is the only decent one in the crowd:

“Brandi was the only person from the cast who stuck by me. Brandi is the only one that showed me any loyalty.”

Brandi Glanville? Go figure.
