Ariana Grande has finally flipped her wig...so to speak. The Sam and Cat starlet is opening up about the tortures that she has put her hair through for the past five years. In a revealing Instagram rant, Grande compared her use of wigs to a drag queen. She even teased a new project. Meanwhile, some fans are pushing for Grande to be cast as Wendy Darling in the new Peter Pan musical.
Ariana Grande has been torturing herself for the past five years.
The natural brunette has nearly burned her scalp off playing a redhead for so long. Now she is sick of hearing about the condition of her hair.
In a text only Instagram picture, the starlet let a few things off her chest...and off her head:
“Since people give me such a hard time about my hair I thought I’d take the time to explain to everybody.I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first four years of playing Cat [on Victorious]… as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair. I now wear a wig on Sam & Cat.”
She want on to compare herself to a drag queen, writing:
“And trust me, it’s even more difficult for me to have to wait forever for my natural hair to grow back and to have to wear more fake hair than every drag queen on earth combined. So PLEASE just gimme a break about the hair (or just don’t look at me lol).”
During the rant, she also went to say that she was working on a new project. Meanwhile, Zap2it, is hoping that the actress will return to the stage in NBC’s Peter Pan musical.
