Tonight is the two-hour season finale of Fox’s Sleepy Hollow. The brand new episode will feature the return of John Noble as the Sin Eater, as well as the first appearance of Victor Garber as Ichabod Crane’s father. The big question is who will die on the show tonight. Sleepy Hollow star Tom Mison is opening up about the season finale.
Sleepy Hollow is one of the hottest new shows out today.The surprise hit series has been picked up for a second season but wasn’t extended to a full Season 1 order, meaning that the first season is ending early.
Sleepy Hollow star Tom Mison, who plays the time displaced Ichabod Crane, recently spoke with TODAY, where he spilled the beans about the season finale:
“Basically the story starts off where Abbie and Crane unearth secrets in the Bible. They discover new things about the nature of George Washington’s death and this sends them on this mad hunt.”
The show’s timeslot will be replaced next week by the return of the Kevin Bacon thriller, The Following. However, Fox has big plans for Sleepy Hollow in the future.
Sleepy Hollow’s showrunner, Mark Goffman, spoke to the L.A. Times last year about the show:
“This show has an epic nature to it and the characters find themselves in constant peril, and yet they are aware of just how insane all of this might seem. We really try to approach this from a grounded perspective, grounding these characters based on how we would react in their situation. I think allowing the characters to have a moment where they could reflect on just how crazy what’s happening is, keeps us grounded. One of the words we use in the writers room a lot is ‘fun’--will this be fun to watch? We try to follow a scare with a laugh and a laugh with a scare. It is really freeing to just write and have fun with these characters and allowing this world to continue to tumble out of control.”
