The sexy star of ABC's Scandal Kerry Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha have been sidestepping pregnancy questions for months. But, when the 36-year-old showed up for the SAG Awards at the Shrine Auditorium last Saturday, there was just no hiding the new baby bump, even if she wanted.
It was announced back in October that Kerry Washington was with child, but she hadn’t addressed it publicly until she was forced to appear at the recent red carpet event of the season.
She told the permanently pre-pubescent Ryan Seacrest at the Golden Globes that not only was she excited, but her baby bump goes with every outfit (via E! News):
"I feel like I have the best date of the night, my little accessory here."
At the SAG Awards, she qualified her pervious fashion statement (via E! News):
“Of course, yeah! I mean, Louboutins are great but this is the best accessory...I think this year.”
The scandalous bombshell admitted to E! News that although it is a little more difficult to find clothes, her main criteria is still comfort and fit:
“I look for that things that fit. That's the first rule--what fits. I mean it's the same for me I just have to feel good in it and like it myself so that I feel comfortable all nigh.t”
What's with all the fashion talk, instead of the talking about the baby to come?
The cagey Kerry tells E! that she is happy to share the news, but her private life is still off limits:
“You know, it's sort of like the rest of my private life, I'm not talking about it that much, but I feel really really blessed it just feels like a really good time.”
She must be hiding something.
