‘Fast 7’ Tyrese Gibson Mourns Paul Walker Death Crash with Birthday Bash, Following New Full Autopsy

The sudden death of Fast and Furious Paul Walker in a horrific car crash left co-star Tyrese Gibson in an unshakable state of mourning. Until he threw a two week birthday party in Dubai, where he was able to move right pass it. This follows revelations in the new full autopsy that claim Walker may have been conscious in the moments following the accident.

Tyrese Gibson has co-starred with Paul Walker in four different Fast franchise movies, so it was understandable that it took a week or two for him to get over his friend being consumed by a fire so intense that the coroner couldn’t determine his eye color.

The 35-year-old R&B singer told Arsenio Hall he was nearly distraught, until he threw himself a 15-day birthday party in luxurious Dubai (via Us Weekly):

"I've never been depressed in my life, but I was very, very sad and down. It took me a minute to shake it...I was with him just four days before it happened. We was on the set shooting [Fast & Furious 7 in Atlanta] and that was a lot of shock and trauma for the family and all of us involved, because he's such a nice guy…[But]I found my smile again in Dubai.”

Following the the memorial service held last December, he let everyone know just how much their support meant to him (via Us Weekly):

"A lot of times we can take people praying for us for granted, but it's really a form of rebuilding when you're in pain and you're confused and going through things. The family thanks y'all and we thank y'all for all the energy--all of the prayers, tweets, Instagrams that you've sent all of us. We love y'all, appreciate y'all, and just thank you. It means a lot...We just want to keep his memory and legacy and what he stood for going."

Indeed. Fast and Furios 7 will be coming to theaters April 15, 2015.
