Well the clue hunt for the next season of American Horror Story has begun. Series creator Ryan Murphy is also offering up a few spoiler hints about Season 4. Meanwhile, the current season, Coven, only has two episodes left.
The countdown has begun. Sadly, American Horror Story: Coven is about to end, but the hit show will be back for a fourth season with a brand new theme.
Series creator Ryan Murphy recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly, where he let slip a few hints about what is in store for next season:
“It’s set in 1950. If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”
Many fans are speculating as to what historical event Murphy was talking about. Everything from the nuclear scare to Roswell has been brought up.
Meanwhile, the last season is reportedly Jessica Lange’s last. Lange told EW last year about her plans to leave the show:
“It ends up being a lot of time during the year being committed to something. I haven't done that for a long time. It's like doing a stage play between the rehearsal and the run. This is a 6-month commitment every year. That will be four years in a row. I want to have more time to myself I guess. Once it's over and I have a full year ahead of me with nothing to do, who knows? It might not have been the best decision. But I think four years doing something is a sufficient amount of time.”
