The brand new estimated total for this Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing has reached an estimated total of $51 million with a cash value of $27 mil.

The Mega Millions game did give out $4 million recently with the official website telling the story of the lucky winner:

“A $4 million prize awaits the lucky holder of a winning Match 5 Mega Millions ticket in Texas. The ticket, which included the optional Megaplier purchase for an extra $1, is worth $4 million thanks to the 4x Megaplier drawn on January 17. The ticket correctly matched the five white balls--1, 10, 26, 31 and 51--but missed the Mega Ball of 11.

“The $4 million winning ticket was sold at the Right Choice Food Mart #9 in San Antonio, Texas. It is the second Megaplied Match 5 prize won in Texas since Mega Millions was relaunched in October; the first was worth $5 million. North Carolina and Pennsylvania have also sold Match 5 winning tickets that included the Megaplier, worth $3 and $5 million, respectively.”
