CMT eager to get into reality embarrassment television territory, is premiering their new show Party Down South this month on its channel dedicated to country western music. The show will chronicle the ups and down involved with“party livin’” for eight party animals in S.C.’s sleepy beach town of Murrells Inlet. To get the best idea of the format and target audience, just think Honey Boo Boo’s cast at podunk Jersey Shore.
The creative geniuses behind MTV’s one time hit Jersey Shore are trying to recreate the magic down south, this time for CMT.
The producers are introducing a new show, Party Down South that follows a group of silly drunks, who should know, but don’t. So, it’s exactly the same as Jersey Shore, only paler and with different obnoxious accents.
The show even has the hot to trot ladies that are willing to embarrass themselves in any way, just as long as you get the idea that they are loose women. Like the always-single Tiffany Heinen, who is hell bound and determined to make the world her stage (via NJ.com):
“For some weird reason when I'm drunk, I like dancing on poles. I really think I was a stripper in my other life."
Not only does Tiffany talk the talk, but she walks the walk according to NJ.com. Even when faced with near death, she never forgets to party:
“She nearly gets mowed down by a pirate-themed tourist boat after they all decide to jump in the water. Tiffany then grabs a mile marker and pole-dances on it. Very Deena Cortese-meets-old Snooki.”
Watch out Brandi Glanville, the real drunks just arrived to reality television.
