Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville is known for saying outlandish and often offensive things. The 42-year-old mother of two took a little break from her feud with LeAnn Rimes to offend anyone who isn’t pro-child molestation on her podcast, by announcing that she regrets having not been molested as a child.
Brandi Glanville’s bad behavior usually only personally offends one race at a time, but this time she took the extra time to reach out.
In her recent podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, she kicked off the show by relating to guest comedian Jim Florentine through the mutual regret of a childhood devoid of molestation (via Fox News):
“I was actually stalking you online, Jim, and we have something in common! I, too, wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up. My sister got felt up by a principal, and nothing for me. He didn’t even look at me sideways...Yeah. Now looking back, I’m super-bummed. I was thinking, ‘All this and nothing?’ Super-hot and they passed me up!”
Though the podcast was clearly intended as a lewd joke, Rape Abuse and Incest National Network spokesperson Katherine Hull gave an official statement to Fox News expressing the organization’s disappointment:
"As any good parent would know, sexual abuse of children is nothing to laugh about. Sexual abuse should never be fodder for comedy."
What do you think? Should Glanville just stick to insulting other quasi-celebs? Or can anything be funny, depending on how it’s treated?
Maybe, you think she should have been molested as a child. Let us know how you feel in the comment field below.
