2014 Season 18 'Bachelor' Juan Pablo Cares About Fame Not Crazy Contestants

The 2014 Season 18 of the Bachelor has just started, and already there is a whirlwind of rumors. The show's star, Juan Pablo, 32-year-old Miami-based sports and entertainment consultant, has been surrounded by gossip that he is more interested in money, fame and his baby’s mama, than the crazy contestants that ABC has corralled for him.

For the first time in recent history, the Venezuelan former soccer player has everyone commenting on the Bachelor's intentions with the show, instead of the women.

Juan Pablo has his eyes set on television stardom, according to an insider who spoke to OK! Magazine. The one time athlete is looking to cash in on whatever fame he can manage to muster:

“There’s no doubt in my mind that Juan pablo is on the show to strictly get famous and kick-start a television career. i think that was his intention when he appeared as a contestant on the The Bachelorette, and clearly his scheme is working since he’s now starring in The Bachelor.”

Though it may not be fame, so much as the fortune, that he is after according to some. Jesse Csincsak, Season 4 Bachelorette winner, told OK! the man was just looking to get paid:

“Deep down he is probably thinking, ‘Hey if i can make $100,000 and create some notoriety, then maybe I could be the next Chris Harrison and make a million dollars a year.’ I think the guy’s hard-up for money and looks at this as an easy paycheck.”

If this is part of some master plan, than good luck to you Juan Pablo and congratulations on a game well played thus far.
