Movie over Hollywood A-Listers, there is a new star in town, and his is name is Chris Pratt. The formerly fat funnyman has transformed himself into a buff action hero. Not only is Pratt starring in the upcoming new Marvel flick, Guardians of the Galaxy, but now he has landed the lead role in Jurassic Park 4, A.K.A. Jurassic World. Meanwhile, the actor has just returned to his hit NBC show Parks and Rec. Pratt is also showing off his new action star body, by posing shirtless, whenever he can.
It had been rumored for months that Chris Pratt was going to star in the next Jurassic Park movie and now it has officially been confirmed.
Legendary director Ron Howard spilled the beans about the casting, when he posted a picture of his daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Chris Pratt on the red carpet for the Golden Globes, tweeting:
“Bryce and Chris meet for the 1st time on red carpet they will be co-stars in next Jurassic”
While he was on the red capret, Pratt stopped and spoke with MTV about the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy:
"Guardians of the Galaxy was absolutely the experience of a lifetime. I have a feeling that it really hasn't even started yet because we've got a big publicity push that's going to happen, where we're going to fly around the world and introduce the movie to different people. That's going to be really exciting and new for me, to do something like that on a grand scale. The movie-making process was unlike anything I had ever experienced before and truly mind-blowing. James Gunn [Director] did a great job."
Pratt also teased the reporter about taking his shirt off, after the subject of his recent selfie was brought up.
