Marvel’s 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' Paul Rudd 'Ant-Man' Crossover Episode After Coulson Secret Revealed

Tonight is the night for an all new episodes of ABC’s hit series, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Last week we finally got some answers as to what happened to Agent Coulson. Spoiler Alert: it was kind of dumb. Now Coulson, himself, Greg Clark, is talking about the future of the show, specifically an Ant-Man tie-in. Clark is dropping hints that Paul Rudd's Ant-Man might be make an appearance in the series.

The Avengers TV spin-off, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, has already tied in with Thor 2: The Dark World and it is set to crossover with Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. Now there's talk of Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man making a guest appearance on the show. However, the talk is coming from the S.H.I.E.L.D.’s own Greg Clark.

Greg Clark recently shared his thoughts about Paul Rudd being cast as the titular hero new Ant-Man movie:

"I love that idea. I love that idea. I think he's amazing and, for me, what's great about Marvel is the kind of outside-the-box casting that they've done, starting with Robert [Downey Jr.] who now seems so perfect, but I think was a little bit of a tough sell at the first moment."

Clark then went on to plea for Rudd to appear on the show:

"I hope [Rudd] does a lot of films with [Marvel] and he comes onto our show."

As we know, Paul Rudd has been cast as Scott Lang the second Ant-Man. Last month, Marvel’s President of Production and Official Movie Mouth Mover, Kevin Feige, made the announcement via a press release:

“When Edgar Wright came to us with the idea of Paul Rudd, we felt a huge sense of relief because the first step in creating any Marvel Studios film is finding the right star.We knew early on that we had found the right person in Paul. When he not only agreed to do it but became as enthusiastic as any actor we'd ever met with about doing the work, we knew we’d found the right guy. We couldn't be more excited for our audiences to see what he’s going to do to bring Ant-Man to life."
