Well, tonight's the night. The long awaited return of NBC’s smash hit series The Blacklist returns for the second half of the first season. The darkhorse drama is one of the surprise successes of the 2013 season. Catch back up with all the latest info about James Spader and the rest of the cast, before the big premiere tonight.
The Blacklist was perhaps the best thing to happen to network TV in 2013. Now the show is breaking into 2014.
The show will be coming back from hiatus for the first part of its second half tonight. Confused?
Well, the second half of the season will be split in two parts. NBC’s coverage of the winter Olympics will interfere with the season starting on February 7. The Blacklist will once again return on February 24.
However, do not worry about the series future. The show has already been picked up for a second season--which is good news for the cast, who are starting to to get attached to their roles.
24 vet Harry Lennix stars as Harold Cooper. Lennix recently opened up to The Daily News about working on the show:
“I’m always intrigued by what’s coming. They do a good job of keeping it interesting. And it’s a lot of fun to work with James Spader.”
He later went on to add that he started to connect to his character:
“Harold’s one part of me. You find part of yourself in most of your characters--though sometimes the most fun is when there’s a total disconnect….I keep my private life private. I don’t like to live my life out loud.”
