Shia Labeouf has been in a lot of hot water lately. The Transformers actor has come under fire for plagiarizing Daniel Clowes (and many others) work. Labeouf is apparently trying to turn stealing into an art form. Now it seems that the former child star has stolen from Justin Bieber. The scandal prone actor has announced that he is retiring.
Shia Labeouf has went from cuteish little kid to the shady semi-pronographer that you see in films today. Labeouf recently caused a controversy when he plagiarized author Daniel Clowes in his short film, HowardCantour.com.
Every since then, Labeouf has been on a thieving streak or sorts. He even plagiarized his apologiy to Clowes.
However, Labeouf has since abandoned apologies and has decided to turn thievery into an artform. Labeouf has even threatened to further plagerize Clowes when he Tweeted a story for his new film Daniel Boring, a play on Clowes' David Boring. Clowes' lawyers responded to the tweets by sending a cease and desist letter to Labeouf, which he has since boasted about, posting them on his Twitter.
Now Labeouf has apparently had enough stealing. Now that his “creative process" has been called into question, he has decided to retire. Labeouf echoed Justin Bieber when he announced that he is retiring, writing:
“In light of the recent attacks against my artistic integrity, I am retiring from all public life.”
Labeouf followed this tweet by writing:
“My love goes out to those who have supported me.”
What do you think about Shia Labeouf's recent comments? Do you want him to really retire?
Do you think that Labeouf should be sued for his actions? Let us know your thoughts on the subject in the comments section below. Chances are slim that he will take credit for your words.
