American Idol winner Carrie Underwood has been dreaming big since her critically panned live rendition of The Sound of Music lit up the small screen late last year. She wants to one day win the highest accolades for her recently discovered talent and if she winds up divorcing Nashville Predator husband Mike Fisher as a consequence, so be it.
The country music singer was so impressed with her performance on live television, that she has convinced herself that she is an actress destined for big things.
The 30-year-old reality show winner has decided to shift some of her interest to acting and has started taking one-on-one lessons at the prestigious Stella Adler Studio, which counts icon Marlon Bardon among its alumni, a close friend reveals to Star.
She doesn’t understand just how far she has to go to become bearable to watch, the friend goes on to explain to Star:
“She had no idea just how badly her acting came across on the live TV broadcast, but Carrie isn’t the type of person who lets the haters win. She’s determined to prove them wrong and won’t give up until she wins an Oscar.”
All this shift in focus has her husband livid. They had planned to start a family soon, but it looks like Underwood have put those plans on hold, while the job offers are still coming.
Mike barely made it through all the time apart during her musical preparation a source explained weeks ago to Star. He has been fed up and ready to leave.
“The ordeal left Mike feeling neglected and ignored...Mike is fuming. Carrie is thrilled about all the opportunities, but she’s very conflicted and confused. She and mike are barely speaking.”
Maybe, its time for the couple to call it quits? What do you think?
Should they compromise their dreams to have a life together? Or should they just move on before it too late and children are involved?
