'Batman Vs Superman' Script and Filming Update, 'Breaking Bad' Bryan Cranston Lex Luthor Casting Rumors

Well it is official. The script for Batman vs Superman is finialy finished...again. After undergoing a last minute rewrite, the completed draft is in the hands of the actors...well, most of them anyway. Where the superhero roles are filling up faster than you can say Shazam, we have yet to receive any official word on who will play the villain. Everyone from Doomsday to Matello has been mentioned in the rumor mill. One of the most talked about fan theories is that Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston will be cast as Lex Luthor.

The script for Batman Vs Superman is officially finished after being rewritten. Amy Adams, who plays Lois Lane in The Man of Steel and the upcoming sequel, was recently a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she revealed that filming was getting ready to begin, telling the host that she will start “very soon, but I cannot tell you anything,” before adding, “I just read the script."

With the script finished, fans are awaiting an official announcement on who will play the big bad. Lex Luthor has already been confirmed for the film but with no actor attached. With everyone from Dwyane Johnson to Mark Strong rumored, one actor stands out as a fan favorite.

Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston casting rumors have survived since the film was first announced.

AMC podcast Team Amasian is now confirming that Cranston will in fact be playing Lex Luthor. However, it must be noted that no one involved in the movie's production has confirmed this casting news.
