Kelly Osbourne recently canceled her wedding plans and officially called off her engagement. Her latest statements come after rumors that she reached out to friend and wrecking ball, Miley Cyrus.
Matthew Mosshart and Kelly are parting ways, according to an article by NY Daily News. A representative for Osbourne released a statement to the publication, which reads:
"Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have decided to end their engagement. The split is amicable and the pair continue(s) to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don't expect it."
This latest update comes after Kelly reportedly reached out to Miley Cyrus, following an interview in Rolling Stone where Cyrus admitted using drugs. According to one insider who spoke with Star, Kelly doesn’t like the example Miley is setting:
“Kelly takes her sobriety very seriously. He dad and brother have also struggled with drugs, and Kelly has seen too many good friends get sucked into that destructive culture. Kelly called Miley up and really lit into her and warned her that the bad-girl shtick was getting old real quick.”
Kelly isn’t just angry at Miley’s interview, she is scared that her friend is in desperate need of help. According to the source, rehab may be the only answer:
“Kelly went so far as to offer her dad’s services to be Miley’s sober coach, but Miley was so offended. She told Kelly that she isn’t an addict and to mind her own business. Miley doesn’t want to hear anything that goes against her image overhaul. It’s like she is living in a bubble.”
