When it comes to Prince Harry of Wales and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, engagement rumors are always in the air. A new tabloid report is claiming that they have grown even closer, as a result of spending the holiday apart.
Vanity Fair was among the first to report that Harry and Cressy didn’t spend Christmas together, despite numerous reports to the contrary. The controversial publication informed their readers:
“Cressida did not end up joining the crowded royal assemblage over Christmas, as had been rumored. And it’s now somewhat unclear whether Harry even invited her, as, per the Telegraph, Harry would have known ‘it would not be appropriate for Miss Bonas to join the Royal family for Christmas until they are a married couple.’”
But, don’t panic. That doesn’t necessarily spell disaster for the cute couple.
In fact, OK! thinks it means the exact opposite. One source told the publication that Harry couldn’t stop thinking about his beautiful GF:
“He was always leaving the room to answer a text from her and [the family] lost count of how many times he’d pop out and call her. He really missed Cressy more than he expected, and it made him even more confident that she’s the one for him.”
According to the gossip rag, he’s not the only one who likes Cressida. The insider went on to claim that the Queen is quite fond of her as well:
“It’s no secret the queen would dearly love to see her roguish grandson settle down, and she thinks Cressy is his ideal match. She likes that [Cressy] comes from a good family, plus she has a twinkle in her eye that reminds the queen of her sister, the late Princess Margaret.”
