Smiths’ Morrissey Attacks Meat Eating Pedophiles After 'Duck Dynasty' Controversy

Morrissey, the former Smiths singer, is well known for his outspoken disdain for meat eaters. He even refused to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live, when he found out that members of Duck Dynasty would do it. And this was before their recent anti-gay controversy. Now he has attacked all meat eaters by comparing them to pedophiles.

It is no secret that Morrissey has pretty extreme views when it comes to meat. The artist has walked away from performances and even had meat banned from consesion stands at concerts.

Now he has taken his war on carnivores one step further. He has went on to compare anyone who eats meant to pedophiles in a recent online Q and A on his fan website, True to You:

"I see no difference between eating animals and paedophilia. They are both rape, violence, murder. If I'm introduced to anyone who eats beings, I walk away."

He then went on to say that he wants nothing to do with anyone who ingests an animal:

"Imagine, for example, if you were in a nightclub and someone said to you: 'Hello, I enjoy bloodshed, throat-slitting and the destruction of life,' well, I doubt if you'd want to exchange phone numbers."

Morrissey is pretty serious about not wanting to spend time with any meat eaters. In fact, he refused to share the same stage as famed hunters Duck Dynasty last year, when he bailed on a performance for the Jimmy Kimmel show.

However, the Duck Dynasty family has been spouting off some nonsense about pedophilia themselves. A new video has recently popped up of the patriarch Phil Robertson making some pretty controversial comments about young girls:

“These boys are waiting until they get to be about 20 years old before they marry ‘em...Look, you wait until they get to be 20 years old, the only picking that’s going to take place is your pocket.”

What do you think all the crazy comments being made lately?
