Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David are up to nothing again. The pair that brought us the legendary TV series, Seinfeld, are reuniting for something big. Meanwhile, Jerry, a Superman mega fan, has been commenting on the latest incarnation of the character by giving his critique of Man of Steel.
During an Reddit AMA chat session, Jerry Seinfeld announced that he had a big project lined up with his old pal Larry David. Together, Jerry and Larry created one of the most successful shows in TV history.
The mega-hit series about mundane matters has made both men millions. Now the duo is getting back to the mundane:
"We never obsess over anything that isn't mundane. Most recent was intentional mumbling. We wrote this script for this thing that you will eventually see but I can't reveal what it is at this time. All I can do is tell you that it's big, huge, gigantic.”
Well, it is about time. Normally it doesn’t take a decade or so for the world's greatest pair of anything to say, "Hey we should work on something else.”
Granted, neither man needs to work for the rest of their lives, but still...we need them. Seriously, have you seen NBC’s new Thursday night line up? The day needs saving.
Speaking of saving the day, Seinfeld opened up about the his opinions on the Superman reboot Man of Steel. During the Reddit AMA Chat, Seinfeld said:
"I was so happy that they made another Superman movie! I'm really reluctant to be critical of it in any way. But I thought the glossing over of the figuring out a secret identity and why he felt he needed one was a huge missed opportunity for that character, and one of the most interesting things about Superman is the whole secret identity. So to me it was too much action/violence and not enough character study."
What do you think the new Seinfeld project should be?
