Rumors are always flying when it comes to Katy Perry and John Mayer. According to new reports, the singers may already be engaged. Is a 2014 wedding in their future?
A new article in Life & Style helped generate even more marriage chatter in their recent article, which explains a big, love-filled event hosted by Katy (via Christian Post):
"John and Katy flew about 12 of their closest friends to Hawaii. They wanted it to be very special, so they flew them on a private plane. John is usually so private so the fact that he flew all his friends in to be with them was very special. John and Katy greeted all of them with huge smiles and hugs and told them she wanted each one of them with her and John in Hawaii and that she loved them all."
This isn’t the first tabloid to claim that the two are getting hot and heavy. According to a source who spoke with OK! Magazine, the two have been pretty serious for quite some time:
“They’re absolutely head-over-heels in love. John’s been begging Katy to marry him since the summer, and she’s resisted, but in November she finally accepted his proposal. Now it’s full steam ahead. John and Katy are incredibly excited about getting engaged.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time that the tabloid has claimed that the couple is getting serious. An earlier source told the publication:
“Things are going full-steam ahead for John and Katy. As everyone knows, they’ve had their rough spots, but it’s all ironed out and things are just wonderful for them right now. They couldn’t be more in love.”
