One time diva Britney Spears, of Disney fame, among other things, has been criticized for one thing after another since she announced her Las Vegas residency. Now it seems the star is being accused of posting a fake photo of her new look on Instagram. Some claim that the star’s physique, in the picture, is the result of photoshop, not exercise.
The hailstorm over minor controversies only seems to build. The star has recently taken heat for lip-syncing and $2500 three-second meet-and-greets at her new Vegas show.
Besides just the odd lapse in judgment, there are some who are accusing Spears of purposely altering her image in a recent Instagram post.
Hayley Hoover, of the glass.com, recently weighed in for the conspiracy theory camp (via OK! Magazine):
“I’m willing to bet that she doesn’t have the in-your-face six pack that her new Instagram pic suggests. And, uh, I’m not the only one who thinks so.”
That speculation is simply nonsense says Spears’ personal trainer Tony Martinez. He has been working with the star since last February to get her back in peak Toxic form.
Martinez and Britney have been meeting four times a week to focus on a routine that consists of high-to-low intensity routines that include weight training, as well as cardio.
The secret to keeping her motivated, Martinez tells OK! Magazine, is to not make it seem like a chore:
“It’s all about having fun. Some trainers nowadays have that military attitude and have to yell and scream to get what they want. I use more humor...Of course, she’s thrown the ball in my face a few times. Thats okay. She’s very sassy.”
You just be careful over there Tony.
